Sponsor Something / Do Something
We try to provide a summer outing and Xmas party for the Home-Start families; we also give food hampers to those families who struggle financially. Are you involved in Harvest Festivals or Xmas gift services either at church or in a school? We would welcome your donations of food or gifts.
We send regular newsletters to families, volunteers and referrers and produce an Annual Report each year describing our work and achievements of the previous year - perhaps your company would sponsor the printing costs of one of these.
Does your organisation / company have products that you could donate as raffle prizes or something that would be a treat for a stressed out parent, like toiletries for pampering?
Do you have a skill or hobby that you could talk about or demonstrate to a small group of parents - just to make life interesting for those who feel they are vegetating?
Hold an event and raise some funds for us - we’d be very pleased to make an appearance and talk about the work of Home-Start if you’d like us to.
